Custom nipple prosthesis?

I am trying to make a decision about getting a custom nipple prosthesis made for my left side.

In April I had a left UMX and TE placement, and just had my exchange surgery six weeks ago. Not really thrilled with how I look post-surgery. The implant side is noticeably higher, and my PS says it probably won't drop. The implant is a Natrelle 410 anatomical, and my understanding is that (a) the pocket is made pretty tight so the anatomical won't rotate out of position, so there is no room for the implant to drop, and (b) the textured surface of the implant adheres to the pocket tissue. So, yeah, don't think that implant is gonna move. On the upside, put me in a bra and I look fine, I can wear tank tops and tee shirts no problem, so am grateful for that!

I could go for revision surgery to lower the pocket, but after 4 surgeries in the last year (2 LX, UMX, and exchange), I'm about surgeried out. I want a nipple, but am not ready to commit to something permanent, so no surgically made nipple at least until I'm reconciled to the new me (or go for the revision). No cherry on top until I'm satisfied with the sundae.

So, I am looking into getting a custom made nipple prosthesis. Would love to hear from someone who has done this, or knows someone who has. How did it work out for you, were you happy with the result, was it "part of the journey" and you moved on to another solution?

Thanks!

Hi had uni mx2012. Had TE and then Anatomic silicone implant placed over my pectoral, avoiding having my pectoral cut, August 2015. Had a lift for symmetry on my right breast September 17th, 2015. Had an custom nipple created created this summer by FEELING WHOLEAGAIN.COM, used to be called Custom DME. They sent me a kit to make an impression of my remaining nipple. After I made that I mailed it back. I was lucky enough to meet with Paul, the owner here in Seattle, where I live whemn he was here for a visit, purely by chance. Otherwise I was going to see if I could take a day trip to their Salt Lake City headquarters to get the best results matching my remaining nipple. If I was not matching my remaining nipple, I wouldn't have needed to do it that way. Cost $300 for two matching nipples that glue on. I wear the nipple a lot. Nearly 24/7 because I look down and see its there and feel reassured that I look almost normal. Fooled my new PS who did my lift, saw the nipple and thought it was real.
