Today's Wall Street Journal has a good article about the only insurance company on the NY Affordable Care Act exchanges--and one of the largest insurers in the state--to carry Sloan Kettering in network. The NY State dept of finance has just shut it down, meaning that there are no plans available on the NY exchanges for the self-employed that include this hospital. The plan covered about 1/3 of the small businesses in state as well as 1/5 of individuals buying insurance.

Anyone else on Health Republic in NY? Anyone else had insurance issues in other states that kept them from seeking care at one of the major cancer centers, i.e. MD Anderson, Dana Farber, et al?
