Just diagnosed

I was just dx on Oct1 2015 I will have surgery on the 23rd. I will have a double mastectomy. This might sound crazy but when will hit me. Iam trying to stay strong for everyone.

    doxiemom Hi there. It takes time to wrap your head around it. Sorry you have to be here but I think you will find this forum very helpful.     I too was diagnosed on October 1st after 20 years of being a survivor. I keep saying I can't wrap my head around it but I am slowly starting to settle into my "new normal".
