Tissue expander pain

Hello..had surgery in June 2015. Tissue Expanders placed on the same day. Here we are in October and I have swelling and tightness in my chest and armpit area. Amy advice as to how to control pain and swelling?

I have tissue expander placed in Aug. except the initial 4 weeks, I don't have pain. You should let the plastic surgeon take a look. This does not sound righ

Hi, I had my BMX about 3 weeks ago. I also had tissue expanders put in the same day. Since then, I have had two fills and also experiencing quite a bit of pain and swelling. My biggest challenge is falling asleep at night. After talking with the PS office just now, they encouraged me to take muscle relaxers at night to help fall asleep and relax the muscles and to really keep up with ibuprofen during the day to help keep down inflammation. I know I haven't been very good about taking it on a regular schedule. I'm also waiting for a call back to see if they recommend either icing or using a heating pad on low to help. (Heat causes more fluid to come to the area but relaxes the muscles, so the nurse is checking to see which route I should take) I'm only at 280 ccs so I would imagine this gets worse with time...how many ccs are you since they have been in since June?
