Lupron, anyone?

Hi! 54 year old female here, premenopausal (bizarre, I know) - need help making a difficult decision. Wondering if anyone with a similar profile has real life experience to share regarding side effects of lupron. I've already decided against tamoxifen. The protocol would be basically the same - 2 years of lupron and then 3 years of AI. I'm someone who values quality of life over quantity - if I can't run, be mentally stable, do my work with a clear brain, get down on the floor to roll around with my grandkids, get massages without discomfort - well, then I might just want to gamble. The statistics and risk/benefit analysis have so many moving parts that make it seemingly impossible to get my head around what the right decision is for me. I would appreciate any and all feedback based on personal experience. I've been told that my chance of recurrence without treatment is 20 percent, with treatment is 12 percent. Thanks in advance

I'm on Lupron and have no side effects at all to speak of

Lupron has not been an issue at all. Just some hot flashes. The AI is a totally different story, but Lupron itself is fine.

I was 51 at dx did two years of Tamoxifen had some uterine issue so I had an ooph and moved onto to Femara. The surgery was easy but even at 55 instant menopause was tough. Now my only SE from Femara is hot flashes.
