How long for mammo results?

Mom died of bc. Had a mammo yesterday morning. I've call 4 times for the results (yes, I'm "that guy"). I can't sleep. Just a worrier. Your opinions...when they don't call right away, good news or bad news? Why not have a nurse just jump on the phone and say all is well? Usually I hear the same day or next morning.
