I had lots of muscle and joint pain after chemo, four months later still have a bit in the morning. Nothing that kept me from doing things, just not feeling like I was 100%. I was told it can take up to a year to feel "normal" again. Other than waking up feeling a little "creaky" in the mornings, right now I feel like I never had chemo.

I can't speak to the cough and shortness of breath since I didn't have radiation, but that can be related I think. Jus monitor and keep in touch with the doctors because there are things they can do post chemo and radiation to help with the breathing from what I have read.

Hang in there - it gets better!

bernie, Even though they take precautions, radiation can cause problems with your lungs, sometimes. Please call your RO and/or MO if it persists. While not very common, I have heard of people having problems like that a few months out. Like IC said, it took me about a year to finally feel somewhat normal physically and mentally. I hope you get this resolved soon. HUGS
