Lump is back

Nearly two years ago I had a lump. No scans could pick it up but I had a bit of nipple discharge so the breast surgeon decided on a excisional biopsy due to the fact that it was deep, against my chest wall. Pathology came back as usual epithelial hyperplasia and scattered PASH. Now I was doing my BSE the other day and dang it all if that lump isn't back. I'm sure it's just the same thing again but if it is, nothing will reveal that but biopsy. If I have this issue, how will I know when to get something checked out again or when to just let it go because btdt? I'm not worried at all due to my last go around, just wondering how to handle lumps now and in the future. Btw, the lump is deep and fixed as before. Not painful. And smooth. Pretty much behind the nipple.

ETA: I'm 32

Hey Totoro! (Now I'm going to be singing that all dang night. Totoro is a huge family favorite in this house!)

I would get it checked each time it came up if it were me. I don't know that I would run the full gambit of testing each time, but I would definitely go in and have an ultrasound done and see what my BS had to say. I know it seems like a total PITA, but it would be a travesty if you fell into a false sense of security and missed something.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
