So I was told today it's rare to see double negative and the surgeon's are most comfortable with a mx. The second level of comfort was removal of my implants (which is a given for me anyway), the lumpectomy and then radiation. One week after the lumpectomy I would go in for a lift on both breasts and then follow that in four weeks with radiation. I honestly do not know what to do. It turns out I'm too thin to execute flap surgery and any reconstruction will have to use a back muscle. If I'm not making any sense I just heard all this I've only told my mother and I'm pretty much still reeling. I'm sure there is a question here somewhere.

Because the calcifications are at 2:00 on my breast about 6cm from my nipple she will also be doing a lymph node biopsy just to be sure nothing has spread. I do have one other calcification behind the one group of concern and she will also remove that one too, in the MRI it appears to be DICS if it's not benign according to her and the Radiologist on the report.

Am I crazy for sticking with lumpectomy and reconstruction and radiation versus MX? No family history but this double negative has thrown me for a loop and as I read other people's diagnosis at the bottom of responses on the threads I have to admit I don't see many double negatives ER/PR.
