Hi, I'm new here, still adjusting to the idea of being post surgery for breast cancer and waiting for the next recommendations. I do ceramics, well I did do ceramics from 2013 to 2016. I quit because I "got too busy" with the more "sensible" duties in my life. But a week after my surgery on July 28th I went and signed up for ceramics class again. I made it in on the last day of registration in August, as they locked the doors to the student administration office where you sign up. I figure it's a way to take my mind off of my diagnosis and decisions about upcoming treatment and make some pretty things (or even ugly things if that's the way my mind goes later this semester). This is a photo of one bowl and stand that I made from a past class... Well, I guess I'm NOT posting the photo, as the computer says I am "not allowed to post links at this time". I guess I'm too new here? Will post photos sometime in the future. Happy to see the other artwork previously posted.
Oh got it to upload! 10/29

Welcome oldladyblue, Do be sure to post it later. Good for you signing up for the ceramics class. They say no one ever regrets not doing enough housework. I signed up for watercolor classes. I took pottery years ago and loved it.
