Need info on 5FU and Mitomycin

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to help my sister, who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer four weeks after my breast cancer. (Yes, my parents are a wreck.) After delays and problems, she was finally definitively diagnosed and has a treatment plan in place. Due to the location of the tumor, she isn't a candidate for surgery but will instead undergo concurrent chemo AND radiation for six weeks. Ugh.

She will be taking mitomycin and 5FU, both of which I've seen as treatment protocols for certain types of breast cancer. I'm having a little trouble getting the definitive info on these guys and was hoping someone here might have some suggestions on where to find information? I'd like to put together the tips and tricks for her just to take something off her plate.
