First of all, I am so sorry you ladies have to go through this!! I have a sewing ministry called Madelyn Hats (www.facebook.com/MadelynHats) I make and mail free chemo hats to women going through chemo. Why? 5 years ago I lost my step mom to ovarian cancer and 9 months ago I lost my mom to colorectal cancer. My step mom made her own pattern and used to sew her own hats. After she passed away, my mom and I made her chemo hats and brought them to my mom's oncology office. They were so popular, I now send them anywhere in the US.
