Any of Mitchell Gaynor's patients out there?

Not sure exactly where to post this... for the past 4.5 years I have been seeing Dr Gaynor for preventive measures. I'm considered high risk with a dx of ADH.

Two days ago, his receptionist called me to cancel my upcoming appt. When I asked when I could reschedule, she told me I couldn't. When I asked why not, she told me he had died. Very shocking, sudden, and upsetting. I didn't have the presence of mind at the time to ask her how it had happened, since I was so shocked. Later googling revealed that he had been found in the woods after having walked away from a car accident near his home in upstate NY. Apparently he had been missing for several days.

I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there who saw him and if so, what your future plans are concerning a new oncologist. There are not so many integrative oncologists out there...

I'm also a patient of his for 2 years. I go every 6 months and I'm also at a loss on who to transfer my care to. I amhoping they email or call us with a referral. Such a shocking and tragic loss! He will be missed!
