From expanders to implants

just wondering what I should expect after this surgery? Also what do you recommend as far as nipples go? Are you happy with the results of yours

So much depends on your PS. I had a waiting period of four months after my last fill. Following the exchange, I had drains on both sides for two weeks because she wanted to make sure I didn't have fluid build up or infection. I tried not to use my arms very much because when I did, the amount of drainage increased. I was careful and lucky enough to not have any complications. I continued to sleep on my triangle pillow for several months. I started walking around the block immediately. I didn't need to take the Norco that was prescribed but did use Tylenol for arthritis (timed release) OTC. This was the easiest of my three surgeries for BC. For nipples, I have 3D tattoos by Vinnie Meyers. He was coming to the San Diego area and had an opening so I quickly grabbed it. I can't believe what a difference they made in how I feel about myself. It was a hugely emotional experience when I first looked in the mirror. Good luck with your experience!
