Today's my first day of radiation treatment to my left breast and lymph nodes and I have 35 more treatments to go. I have tissue expander's and I will have reconstruction surgery 5 to 9 months after radiation. My radiation oncologist reassures me there is a very low risk for apoor outcome to reconstructive surgery.
