Hi everyone, I had my lumpectomy and lymph node removal in march, finished rads in June, all healed from everything, just taking tomaxifin now. Just had total hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and doing great from that. I just noticed the past 2 days a slight twinge of pain , not long lasting maybe a second or two in my right breast which is the side my cancer was on, periodically throughout the day. Any ideas what that could be from or anyone else experience this? Sandy

I get all kinds of strange pain and sensations. I think it is normal given what we've been through.

My treated breast has hurt or been sore since surgery in March. In fact I went to the rads dr today for a check up because it's sore and warm and I want to make sure it's not IBC. It doesn't have many IBC characteristics other than warm but it's still worrying She said she thinks it's from the radiation and I'll be seeing my surgeon Thursday but it just sucks that things just keep bugging!

I get twinges too in my breast. I figure it's just recovering from everything it went through.

I think it’s pretty normal ... I still get them occasionally, but it was worse the first year. My doctor told me it’s from the nerves healing.

Radiation definitely causes warmth and other symptoms.
