Thinking of you Patty! We support whatever decision you make. Hoping they have some answers and recommendations for you today.
-
We are always here for you Patty. The most important thing right now is pain relief and I pray that you get some soon. It's hard to make a difficult decision when you are in pain.
-
Patty. Sending you hugs. Remember we’re all here for you!

Hard to think straight no less make a decision when you're in pain. I'm so sorry, Patty. I hope they can get that under control. Hugs, Deanna
-
Patty - I’ll echo what lynnewood and dlb823 said. It is exceptionally difficult to make such an important decision while in debilitating pain. We are here for you but is there anyone there for you? I sense that you are quite alone. Family is far away? Isnt there anyone you can reach out to?
Sending love and support. ((Hugs)))

the only family I have here is my 2 dss. I have a couple friends that have stuck around and they r my family. Family 8 hours away.
So mo comes in and I discussed not wanting any more treatment except for pain. Mo says my decision but he doesn’t even know what to try that we haven’t already. So hospice bound
Mo is coming by tomorrow with palliative / hospice care program dr . I am taking so very much painmeds and it relieves it a little but still pain enough to just cry. I am concerned how they r going to control my pain without being knocked out all the time. I will be in hospital for another 2-3 days. For iv antibiotic for pneumonia. Hoping we can find the right combo of pain meds. Mo said they would probably keep me ion pain pump with dialudid when I go home. I was concerned about being tied down to my house with iv pole. But he said they can get it in a small size purse like thing. I cAN just carry it with me about the size of portable oxygen
So will see what tomorrow brings.
Today’s been an emotional mess.

Patty, I had a friend with the pain pump at home. I’m not sure about which medication she was given, but it worked amazingly well. You are in my heart and prayers for your sons

Storming the heavens for some pain relief for you Patty! 🙏
-
Patty - thinking of you. praying for your comfort and for your peace of mind.
-
Patty sweetie, you've been going though so much!! How are your boys? Are they with you? How irresponsible from the PET technicians in not calling doc about your behavior. Urine infections and Pneumonia could cause all this. I know a woman, she went on a table and was screaming that rats were trying to get to her, she had UTI that went unnoticed.
Pain is the worst, your mind cannot think well when we are in pain. What about a Fentanyl patch would that be stronger? Thank you so much in sharing with us, and letting us know how you are.
Enormous hugs and million kisses, hope you could get through this pain.
-
Good morning Patty~ just my daily visit. Giving hugs of supportand wrapping you in our sister love! Two words;pain free!! Love you. ~M~

Patty...bless your heart! You don't know me, but I have followed your story. You have been through so very much and all on your own. I don't know where you are in Arkansas, but I live in the LR area and could travel on the weekends if necessary. I would love to help anyway you need that I can...company, errands, taxi service, clean the house, bring food, mow the yard...you name it. Or someone to just hold your hand and listen and be there for you. Seriously...please don't hesitate to ask.
Misty
