I had BMX no reconstruction on 8/14. I have healed pretty well but have some scabs left 1/4x1 on left, 1/2x2 on right. Should those be gone before I start chemo?

My surgeon Gabe me 4 weeks to heal before starting chemo. I am on day 10. I don't think the

I think they usualLy give 5 weeks after BMX with immediate reconstruction that is a more intrusive surgery than what you had, so 4 weeks might be enough in your case.I had drains for 5 weeks and went for chemo right after they were removed.
Do not worry about scabs.
