Brain paranoia!

Options

Does anyone know anything about brain mets? I hope this is just paranoia but I've had this headache for the past three days. I've been getting plenty of sleep, but I wake up with it. It doesn't feel like a normal headache, and doesn't even necessarily hurt. It more feels like I got hit on the top of the head, and now the feeling has started to come down the the sides of my head. I've taken tylenol, but it hasn't gone away. I've had a few moments where I feel a little dizzy, but it only lasts a minute.

Any thoughts? I really hope this is just me being crazy!

Not more than driving or computer than normal. I may be dehydrated, but I've been trying to drink more. Of course the more I think about it, I feel like the worse it is! ugh! I hate cancer for making me feel so scared when I had been feeling great.

I hope it is just you being crazy, but if it persists I would definitely advise getting checked out!

Yea I have an appointment in 2 weeks to get another Lupron injection, so I'll see my doctor, but even that seems so long to wait!

Let me chime in, had a headache for 4 months recently so consulted MO. She found some subtle weakness on my right side so i got a MRI. Brain mets were suspected. MRI showed some results consistent with a complex migraine issue. I am now on steroids and an anti-seizure med and off my hormonals. Most likely cause - central nervous system damage from my chemos. Not best case, but not mets.

We're so sorry for the worry you're going through. Like Morwenna said, if it continues or gets worse, definitely see your doctor about it. We hope it turns out to be just a headache, we'll be thinking of you!
