28yrs old TNBC

Hello Im 28 and was recently(August 25, 2015) diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I haven't begun treatment or even spoken with an oncologist yet! Just tryna wrap my thoughts around it!!! I am in the LGBTQ Community and I also have two younger boys!!!

    I just wanted to say that I was sorry to read that you have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

    Please do not be afraid. There is good treatment for this and you can get through it.

    You might want to join the thread Calling all TNs. It is a big thread with lots of great women that have gone through or are going through treatment. They have a lot of knowledge and experience and will take good care of you on your cancer journey.

    Have you been told what kind of cancer you have that has the triple negative receptors? The most common is invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC).

    I am a ten year survivor of IDC and triple negative.

    Msladykimbo, As Sylvia said, do not be afraid, do not despair. Sylvia gives us all hope and encouragement, and the good thing about TNBC is that it is very responsive to chemotherapy. You can beat this! And I am so seriously mad that you have to deal with this as a young mom. It just isn't right that you have to go thru this. But you ARE going to win this fight, just know that and be positive. Please do join us over on Calling all TNs, it is a threadinthe Triple Neg forum, with tons of info and the sweetest people. Ourwonderful Mods have given you the link above. I know there are threads here with the LGBT community as well, have you had a chance to check out the website? I have found it to be a blessing, I hope you do too.
