New Lumps

Hi y'all. I was diagnosed with DCIS and IDC in January 2015. I had a lumpectomy in April, finished 38 rounds of radiation in June. I was started on Tomoxfin in June, but had to stop in the beginning August because I made me really ill. The lumpectomy was located on the far far side of my breast. However, yesterday I found two new lumps. One right next to my nipple and one slightly above, as well as the skin has become really rough in that area. I am calling my breast surgeon tormorrow, but would like to hear your thoughts tonight.

    Hi Kevanddengunther, Welcome to BCO! Sorry for the reason you have to be here. I also had a lx in Dec. of 2013. I had two additional lumps that developed right after surgery before I did rads. I can't remember the timing....I think one was before rads and one after. The first one they did a biopsy and it was B9. The second they did an ultrasound and it turned out to be nothing. I think it's smart you're getting them checked out. I hope yours turn out to be nothing too. Best wishes to you!
