i'm having implants removed soon

after two years of having implants, i am soon having them taken out. too much pain and discomfort. the implant on the radiated side is hard and is as high on my chest as it can be. going flat and hopefully no more issues so i can get on with my life

    So sorry to hear that you had these problems. I was flat for about 2.5 years, and it was fine. I hope your surgery goes well.

    Living, I am sorry you are having this problem (and, I have to admit, glad I have no recon, because it sounds horrible). It is weird to live the flat life at times, but it isn't bad at all, at least not to me. Welcome to the F&F world!

    I didn't think I could do the implants, foreign objects would drive me crazy. I had enough stomach/skin material for left DIEP, it feels fine.

    I'm with Meow. Given the choice between implants or flat, I would have happily gone flat. After a year of being half-flat, though, I was very happy with the results of the DIEP surgery.
