1 week after lumpectomy Pain after steristrips were changed?

Hi all. I had my lumpectomy on 8/18. Did not have a lot of pain after. Went back for follow up to see surgeon today. She removed steristrips and put in new. Now I am having incision pain and can see a small red cut. I am planning on calling dr tomorrow. Did anyone experience this
