Painfull after bilateral mastectomy and raidation is it normal?

Good evening one and all I need advice please. I had a bilateral mastectomy last year 9th July. I had chemo and radiation. The last radiation was on the 31st of December. What I want to know I have sever pain on my left side that goes to the back . I have taken inflammatory pain pills over and over again. Nothing helps the pain is of such severity that it wakes me up if I sleep on my left side can't lay on my left side for long not even half on my back then pain gets to much to handle. Is there anyone that this happens to. Please I need help

I finished rads in November, 2014. Also had BMX and ALND. I still periodically have pain like you describe. I started physical therapy a few weeks ago, hoping that will help. Call your RO or your MO.

We have a Facebook group named Surviving Post Mastectomy Pain Syndrome (PMPS) and the ladies in the group have the same problem. The group is a small one, but more we are, the more we learn about our condition.

I see it's a closed group, but I can see all the members, which dissuades me. I really want more privacy than that on Facebook.
