hard lumps after biopsy

Not sure if this is the right category because I got my results(IDC and DCIS) but now that the swelling from the biopsy is going away I noticed a new problem. Went to the doctor because I had a large mass in my breast. Had a mammo and ultrasound. US picked up a second mass, one that neither I nor my doctor felt. As i said. the swelling is going away and now I notice the original mass has become very hard(before it felt rubbery). The second biopsy site also has a hard bump. Both are sore if I touch them but otherwise have no feeling. There is no visible lump on the skin. There are no signs of inflammation(they told me what to look for). Just the lumps. Is this normal after a biopsy?

Also. can a core needle biopsy release cancer cells and spread them through the body?
