Lucent lesion on spine ct scan l1

I've been complaining of back pain to my onc for a few weeks now, she sent me for a CT scan and the results came back with a Lucent lesion on L1. The report state CANNOT rule out mets. I am totally freaking out!!! My onc says don't panic and see what a MRI SAYS. Has this happened to anyone else and what else could it be??????
