Several days before my last expansion I felt a stinging sensation on/off just behind my left armpit. During my last "fill" appointment I told the nurse about it and explained it felt a lot like when a drain stitch started tearing my skin (other side). She told me that was what was happening, there are stitches in there to anchor the TE's. She told me to use ibuprofen and ice. Towards the end of that fill I felt it burning and now three days later I can't do anything without an intense pain setting in, as well as what now feels like some nerve pain when I have a shirt against the skin.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what did you do about it? How long did it last? The pain seems too severe to be dismissed so readily! (6 weeks out from surgery
