Needle biopsy safe while on chemo

I've just had my first dose-dense AC-Taxol treatment. Exactly one week after my second treatment, I am scheduled for a thyroid needle biopsy due to a couple solid nodules detected on an ultrasound. This test has been ordered my PCP, not my oncologist. Is there any risk of having this procedure with on chemo? I will ask when I go in for blood work before by next treatment, but another oncologist will be filling in for mine, while he's on vacation.
