"Pen Pal" for my mom?

Hello!

My mom is looking for someone who she can email with about living with Stage 3 IDC. She doesn't "do" message boards, but likes to write emails. A short bio on her: Dx'd Stage 3 in January, tumors in both breasts and lymph nodes. She refused chemo because she has immune system restrictions and has been trying hormone therapy since. It appears that she isn't responding as much as the doctors would like, and they are ready to refer her back to a surgeon. She is very scared of having the surgery and would like to talk with someone who knows what she is going through. Mom is 64, divorced, retired (was an accountant), 1 child (that's me), 1 awesome grandson, likes to read, likes dogs and sports, and lives in Ohio.

She could do Private Messages here. The only person who would see what she writes is the person she writes to. It is a bit dangerous (to her and 'us') to give out email Addy's to some one unknown as this is, after all, the 'internet'.
