My worry while I'm waiting to see the BS

I kept trying to convince myself it's psychosomatic because of the diagnosis, but my left breast has had an ache/stabbing pain since the core biopsy. I FINALLY see a surgeon on Monday after 2.5 weeks of waiting, but meanwhile, I have these visions in my head that somehow the biopsy shook things up--that the minor trauma to the tumor released cells to travel elsewhere or otherwise got the area inflamed or worsened.

This is completely baseless, right? (Please tell me 'right'.)

Once I had a diagnosis, my entire body seemed to conjure up odd symptoms. I'm two years out and none of them amounted to anything, so I chaulked them up being overwhelmed/anxiety. I hope yours disappear soon.

Possibly a physical reaction to the biopsy itself? (nothing to do with the cancer, but rather with the fact that someone snipped a bit out of your breast) i had twinges in mine after the biopsy too.

I was surprised at how long my breast hurt after biopsy...easily 4 weeks.

Yes! I was wondering today about the psychosomatic effect. After my MRI revealed some suspicious lymph node findings on the side diagnosed with DCIS, I swear that area has been sore. I'm fairly certain that even if hidden IDC has invaded some nodes, I wouldn't actually feel it, but I think all this waiting and all the unknown and unanswered questions is really messing with my head.
