So confused...

Met with BS, after having a 3DMammo, and US that gave me a BiRad of 5, for a 2.2cm solid mass... Needle Core Bx revealed high risk ADH, and mass was 2.5cm ...but docs are still very suspicious...

So met with BS yesterday, she explained the reason they are so concerned is that ADH does NOT usually present itself like my mass.

It's all happening so fast: went to GYN on the 23rd, had Mammo/US the 28th, Bx on the 30th... They told me since it showed ADH may take a little longer for the appts, then called Rt back with appt for BS on 5th, now having excisiona bx on the 7th, with results and plan for whichever it is on the 13th....

I had really accepted BC after needle core bx and doc telling me I had BC but was very optimistic, then when the results revealed ADH followed with they are very suspicious...and then appts so fast, I FEEL LIKE IM IN A TAILSPIN AGAIN! This being in limbo stinks! But I know u all understand...

Does anyone have any experience with the whole ADH doesn't present itself as a solid mass? Or it turning out to be BC?

Sorry, not my experience but just wanted to say you sound very competent and, while it is overwhelming during the diagnostic/work up phase, things will calm down once a treatment plan is determined.

Meanwhile, keep gathering information so you can make good decisions and hang in there...
