Hi all,

This is my first post and I just wanted to see if there was anyone from Oregon on here, how you were all doing. Just looking for a close neighbor.

Yes, there are several of us the the web-toed state, Mama Bear. Several of us are I the Portland area but there are certainly some from further south.

I hope things are ok down there what with this dry, hot summer.

I'm sorry you've had to join BCO but hope we can help you get through this.

Yes, I'm from the Eugene area. I've only posted a few times. My husband has family in your part of the state.

    Welcome!

Another Oregonian here - From Hillsboro. Just drove through Grants Pass yesterday coming home from So. Calif. visiting family. Lots of smoke from all the fires. Had to drive through the night because there wasn't a hotel room to be had from south of Redding CA to north of Grants Pass. The story was that the fire crews fighting all the fires around the area had booked them all. Anyhow, welcome to the forum. This is a great place for information, advice, support and friendship.

    Hi all,

I am originally from Vernonia moved down here a while ago. Hate the summers love the winters!!! I am almost 6 weeks post-op from my DMX going back to work this morning and can't stop crying. I don't ssee the MO until Aug 11th and I am freaking out! I don't sleep much at night so getting up for work is killing me! But I am trying to power through! Everyone on here is amazing and strong, sometime I feel like I don't think I can do it! Good days and bad days!!!

Hello! I'm in Albany, Oregon and this is also my first post. I just had my second round of chemo. I will have a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction after my 6th round of chemo.  Any advice on plastic surgeons Oregon family?

Mama-bear, Here's a big bear hug from Beaverton. There is so much to work through and it can seem overwhelming. I have had a few tearful times but find I need them to let out some of my feelings. The latest was on my weekend in Bend trying to enter the lava tube cave there. My worsening knees and slight dizziness from my hormone therapy had me in tears when I could only complete 1/3 of the trip. There are lots of feelings that I still need to work out. Those times will be less as time goes on. Be good to yourself. PS - Love Grants Pass!
