breast lift over breast implants?

HI,

I am currently in the middle of my treatments, I have IDC and Her2 so 6 chemo treatments then surgery, then back on Herceptin. I currently have implants already. They are very old 22 years at least. I also have cancer in Lymph nodes but it is only on one side, and my cancer is local. I am into my 3rd chemo treatment tomorrow.

When my surgery comes, I DO NOT want implants put back in. I do not want to deal with them any longer. I would rather just have a lift. I am currently a DD size, and I think my natural size was a C. So I am wondering is this possible to just have a lift, because I know once my implants get taken out along with the smaller size tumor, and lymph nodes, they will be nothing but a lot of loose skin.

Has anyone had this done, instead of replacement of the breast implants?
