Itchy breast after surgery

Hello,

I had fat necrosis removed and since my right breast itches like Mad (deep tissue itching).Did anyone have similar expérience after excisional biospies or other breast surgery ?

Dear Alicki:

I had sporadic deep tissue itching after surgery.  I could feel the itching but my breast was numb so it didn't help when I scratched.  It was a truly weird sensation.  I attributed the itching to healing.  Mine wasn't as annoying as yours though.  Hopefully, yours will go away soon.  You may want to see your doctor.  Good luck.

I'm going to give it a month and see. I have still a bit of fat necrosis in the area but soft now.

Meanwhile, if it gets worse, will go and see the person who is standing in for my doc on holiday.

In a word, yes. Itching is part of the normal healing process according to my BS. I still have some itching on my C-Section scar and my kids are in their mid-30's! So, normal for sure.

I think it might have been the oil (primerose I was using). Itching better. Sounds like i cant Even use organic oil, grrh
