I had a mammo and an abnormal mass was seen and I was referred for US. The US found a hypoechoic multilobulated mass with center septation. They gave it a BI-RADS of 4. I live in a smaller town and the only surgeons that take my ins are on vacations and I have to wait 2 weeks for a consult. I of course have Google every term on the report and everything says highly probable for malignancy. So my question is just to gather info if anyone has had these same terms and been benign or malignant. TIA!!

Get yout hair done, have a mani pedi...make it all, about you for the next 2 weeks to try to get your mind less anxious. Call your pop for a little Ativan or Xanax. Pretty darn impossible, ,pretty darn impossible but every clear moment helps.

We will be here for you,

Hi Lady. We're sorry that this worry has brought you here, but wanted to say welcome!

Until you can have further tests done, we hope that you'll be reassured by the information at the main Breastcancer.org site called What Mammograms Show: Calcifications, Cysts, Fibroadenomas, that reinforces that there are many other benign masses that can come from testing.

Best wishes, and please keep everyone here updated on how you're doing.
