Hard, tender area above belly button after muscle sparing flap.

I'm 3 weeks post op today and over the last few days I've picked up my activity level.

Right above my belly button the tissue feels hard and it's very tender all around the area.

I called my ps today and he wants to see me. He said it wasn't urgent (I had surgery out of town) but that he'd like me there this week or next.

Now I'm having mixed feelings. Nervous that something might be wrong and partially nervous that I'm over reacting!

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I'm also still really swollen in both reconstructed breasts (one is as heavy as a small watermelon!) and am also really tender between my breasts.

Thanks so much for any experiences you can share.

Yes, I remember discomfort so much is adjusting I'm sure you are ok but always good to see doctor to make sure you don't have a problem. Three years now and still having new sensations.
