-
ducky!!! So happy to see all of those pictures of your gorgeous family. I swear you have the best genes. Grayson looks so beautiful. What a treat to see the little princess in her chariot!
Hello crazies and welcome to those new crazies. I read all the time but rarely post these days. Grief is my constant companion these days and I barely get through my days of working and taking care of what's left of my family. Kenny and I are going to check out a group that meets once a month for parents who lost a child. It is next Thursday evening.
Octo, glad you finally have a house! Lucy, good luck on the move. Glad you finally get to live in your new place. QMC, always good to see you. M0mmy, in your pocket for Friday's scan.
I see my MO later this month. My blood was good including the BC antigen tests were both in normal range so that's good. My annual dexascan was just slightly worse in the lumbar and hips are still good. So why the anxiety for the appointment?
Anyway love you all. I will be rocking on the porch contemplating life and drinking tea if anyone wants to pull up a chair.
-
molly-You have been through so much. Counseling could help you and your husband deal with this horrible loss. My thoughts are with you.
-
Ducky - thank you for the lovely photos!! You have an amazing family! 😘😘😘
-
My Scan that was supposed to be tomorrow got pushed back a week because the hospital hasn’t received some paperwork. So frustrated with this.
-
(( Molly ))..I think of you and your family so often ..I can imagine how awfully hard it is trying to cope at this time ..I hope the Thursday night group helps ..it's so good to beable to talk to other people who really understand...I guess that why we get comfort out of this forum as well ...
Mommy ..that's crap ....so annoying ...:-(
-
will be thinking of a.l those in testing tomorrow, bummers on the delay
Yesterday was very long day, it was a chemo day for me, when they ran my blood tests at start, i was dehydrated so they decided to pump saline in me after my med. Seems my med could not be combined. Anyhow, somehow i managed to dislodge the port, i got up to pee, and ended up with saline pouring down my shirt. Ended up having to change into a set of dry Msk scrubs to come home. A day that started at 9 didnot end till after 6.
Can you say i was pooped? Recovering in my recliner
-
Molly, thanks for the compliment..the group will help a lot..after my husband passed away I was lost..even with 6 children and 18 grandchildren..however they too got me through.. especially afte my youngest daughters her her first baby, and I took care of him for 16 years, and his sister 2 years younger..but I have to say the group got me through also...we met once a week for 6 weeks, and then off for a short while, and then back again....you tell your stories, you grieve together, and realize you are not alone in your grief..my group was called To Live Again..and it was run by the hospital...of course ours was a “cancer group” where yours will more then likely be just people who lost children...so go, I do believe you will benefit from it, of course it will not bring Wyatt back, but you will realize “your not alone in your grief”....please join, and give it a try..hugs girlfriend....To all the other ladies who enjoyed my pictures...thank you so much...
-
My grandson just got back from Italy..this is one of his pictures..
-
-
Ducky .. gorgeous photo !!!
-
Bummer about the complications, Iris--but at least you got a new set of scrubs out of it (great for PJs or hanging around the house).
-
Iris: my sympathies! I can just bet you were exhausted after all that.
-
Hugs to Molly and anyone else in need. Ducky - Beautiful photos - You are fortunate to have such a wonderful & growing family - Surely a testament to you and you dear departed husband. Iris - Hope you are feeling better after all the XXXX (rhymes with grit).
Will be heading to the annual mammo visit, along with BS & nurse navigator on Tues, 8 AM. Hoping for NED and to hear OK results from recent DEXA.
Everyone experiencing storm Harper's wrath, stay warm!
-
Iris..I don't blame you for feeling pooped after all that !!!!!
CeiiaC ...In your pocket on Tuesday !!!!
-
Iris- hoping your next treatment goes really well You've had a difficult time lately; especially with the stomach issues.
Ceiia-Good Luck on Tuesday.. Hoping for NED.
-

Canceled a pt appt, i just need a break
My bladder treatment, well success or failure. is still on hold and not sure if i need a second dose, doc did say he started with lo dose and could increase if needed, think i need
-
Hope everyone is doing better...tests, mammograms..medicine, etc..does it ever end..just hope all turns out great for everyone...
-
You too, ducky--and I hope Philly doesn't get too badly slammed by the snow & cold.
-
Nothing at all....we escaped it..some rain, wind, but that was it....already I can’t wait for summer.
-
Mammo today was all good, A1c normal and DEXA results virtually same as 2 yrs ago, so yippee! Recommended increase Vit D and Calcium supplements and a referral for PT to help strengthen bones. My sister did PT and was able to add 2 points to her DEXA score & avoid Prolia, so I will give this a try.
ChiSandy - Weather.com was showing some nasty weather headed your way. Stay warm and safe!
