Local is good—maybe another 28 years NED!
-
I agree with Sandy, Hooray for local if you have to recur.
-
if you pray, please pray for my Wyatt. He's in bad shape with non stop seizures.
-
Will do, Molly. In my prayers tonight.
-
Thank you, Sandy
-
Molly, thinking of you and of Wyatt.
Sending love
Octogirl.
-

-
Thank you for the prayers. He's finally sleeping after hours of seizures.
-
{{{{{Shorfi}}}}} So sorry to hear this. Keep us posted.
Molly, thoughts and prayers with you and Wyatt. Glad he's sleeping.
Good thoughts to all crazies....
-
Molly, Thinking of you and Wyatt and hoping he is doing better today. Jan
-
Molly and Sandy - yes, thankfully it's local and not distant. Thanks for pointing toward the half full glass.
Hoping Wyatt is having a peaceful day
-
Praying for you and Wyatt, Molly
-
Molly, Praying for your family and especially for Wyatt.
-
Molly..keeping Wyatt and you in my prayers ..
I'm having my hysterectomy tomorrow afternoon ...I am so scared I'm nearly sick 😞
-
I am in your pocket, Lucy. It will be fine. Do you have ice packs, peri bottle, wet wipes on hand? Do you have your recovery area set up with remote, books, and other things to entertain you? Wyatt's doing better but I see problems ahead with him sleeping so much from the meds. Yesterday he turned bright blue while trying to cough up the thick secretions. I had my DD on the phone with 911 just in case but he pulled out of it.

Thinking of you all!
For those who like meditation or are curious about trying it. Great app has first 10 days free. Headspace is the name of the app. 10 minutes a day teaches the basics! I need to relearn consistency...
Lucy - in your pocket. Happy you found hystersisters to be helpful. Back in '99 they had a chat room. Was disappointed when they discontinued it. Having real time chats was a great way to calm nerves.
Molly- my prayers continue for your precious family.
Pennys- local is better, but still disconcerting. 🤗Hugs 🤗
Poppy- thank you for letting us know how Beppy is doing.
Ducky- I love that picture of the 3 amigas!
I went to one of those Escape Room places last night. It was so much fun. Live action puzzle solving! We used Groupon, full admission prices are crazy.
-
Morning all, gee I get really nervous when taking meds, i know I am sensitive to lots of stuff but really get frleaeaked hearing about folks overdoing things
Just had cleaning gal here, really needed her just help clear my head. Got a visit With an ms place tomorrow even though nuero says I do not have ms but hoping it gets me into a big hospital
I dreamed last night that my back issues where ok

In your pocket Lucy...I've been working all weekend but been thinking of you all. Sending love.
-
Lucy, In your pocket!
-
ladies thanks so much for your prayers and well wishes..I will be seeing my MO this afternoon and he will map out my plan. Will will be doing chemo for 3-6 months, every two weeks. The good news is...it is small, no lymph node and there is no metastases. The surgeon says my prognosis is good because of this. If he sees shrinkage he will do the surgery right away. It is near the blood vessels.
I told him I wanted him to be upfront with me and he said he was being completely honest. But out of all this, it was the gallbladder. They just happened to find this incidentally while doing an ERCP and a CAT scan early in the morning. So my gallbladder is on hold until we take care of this. For now I'm on oxycodone for the gallbladder pain.
He also mentioned that this is like a miracle because most patients are at the end of life, so I'm happy this was caught early.
-
Please, no horror stories
-
shorfi, no bad stories, only good thoughts for you
Hope all goes fast
-
shorfi, great news! I am praying for you.
-
Shorfi- hugs, love and prayers. Happy they found it early and it is treatable! 2 awesome words in Cancer country.
Lucy-make room in that pocket!
-
Shorfi, that is good news! Thank heavens for a crabby gallbladder!
Lucy, in your pocket today for your surgery!
-
Shorfi, Glad your prognosis is good. So sorry you're in so much pain. ((Hugs))
Lucy, In your pocket!
-
In Lucy's pocket and giving Shortfi hugs or relief.
Beppy, sure hoping you will be awake soon!
-
Shorfi, he fact that it’s small (stage IA) and basically an “incidentaloma” (found by accident while looking for something else in another organ) is extremely encouraging. Most patients don’t find out until they become symptomatic. Good idea getting the jump on it right away. We’re in your pocket for your chemo (having had TN, you know the ropes) and surgery. Probably wouldn’t be a radical surgery, either.
Lucy, stretch that pocket a bit so I can jump in too. Beppy, prayers for a smooth and imminent awakening.
-
Happy to read such positive news Shorfi.
