Risk of mets to my brain?

I have stage 1 and no node involvement. I may need to go off hormone (anti-estrogen) treatment. But I am terrified of mets to my brain. Does anyone know the chances of brain mets in my situation?

I am 4 years from diagnosis: just checked out as totally NED. I had lumpectomy and radiation and three years of letrozole. My nurse practitioner suggests I try tamoxifen

Probably pretty low: most common sites for BC to metastasize are bone and lung, also liver. Triple negative and HER2 positive tumors are more likely to go to brain, which you didn't have. I wouldn't see how you'd have much to worry about unless there is a genetic factor like BRCA mutation to also consider.

Going on tamoxifen might be a good idea. If you don't tolerate it, you can quit
