Hi ladies! Just thought I'd check in and give you some good laughs today....I'm writing this from beautiful VA beach, where my two sons and I have been since Wednesday. Today is the most gorgeous day yet, a perfect beach day, but we are holed up in the room enjoying whatever we can from our balcony. Early this morning, around 4 a.m., my oldest started with a terrible bout of foodborne illness requiring the hotels entire supply of towels and a hefty dose of room deodorizer. I got an amazing amount of laundry done in that little sink too, thanks to the hefty prices they charge to do laundry. He is on the mend just in the last hour or so. You ladies would be very proud of me not hitting my wine stash. . I'm getting a little wine belly that's gotta go!

It's amazing how life likes to remind you, in little ways and big ones, that things don't always go as planned! Last year, I bemoaned the fact that we did a staycation, but they are a lot cheaper. Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day.

Hoping today finds you all optimistic and, if not feeling well, on the road to recovery.

Bobbie

I guess it seems inappropriate to talk about good laughs in a scenario like this, but when there seems to be no end to the throwing up (and the other thing), sometimes all you can do is laugh at the ridiculousness of it all! He is feelings better

GF, I'm drinking it now, for sure, but it's white. Whatever! I sure white has some redeeming quality (QOL?). That terrible GI thing hit me that Saturday from 6 pm to 11 pm, and then the youngest woke me up at 2 am Sunday and déjà vue'ed us until we got in the car for our 8 hour trip home. I put a beach towel in the back seat and hoped for the best. Can you say staycation next year?
