Nothing on mammo, waiting for surgeon

I had my mammo and ultrasound today. Radiologist said he couldn't see anything and since they "only look for cancer", I should be "glad they didn't see anything." Completely disregarded all symptoms and the fact that mammograms are not perfect. He was too cheery and seemed genuinely surprised that I was not as happy as him. Oh well. At least he was kind enough to meet with me face to face.

My midwife had a much more sympathetic reaction. She said she'd already planned to send me on to a breast surgeon. I told her who I wanted to go to and she's working on getting me in. So I'm waiting to hear from... someone.

I'm only this touchy because this seems like the sorry of my life... something is wrong, but even though were the experts we don't know what it is, so, oh well. Can't help. More along. I actually told my midwife she'd was to easy, and want I supposed to be fighting with her over ask this? She rocks.

I hope I hear something tomorrow, our it may be a long weekend. To fill the time, tell me... are mammograms only to detect cancer? Are they ever wrong? Are ask radiologists so cheerful in the face of an absolutely freaked our patient??
