hematoma forming after MRI guided biopsy

I had an MRI guided biopsy on 5/21/15. The radiologist told me at the time of the biopsy that a hematoma resulted from the biopsy.  I was told that the hematoma is a "giant hematoma" that measures 8cm.  It is now 7/15/15.   The hematoma is still hard.  It does not feel like it is fluid filled.  My nurse practitioner at my oncologists office told me on 6/1/15 that it could take 6 months to resolve and that there is nothing to worry about.

Logically, I agree with my doctors since I trust them and they are all experienced and caring.  In real life though, I cannot stop worrying and poking my breasts.

Has anyone had any experience with a giant hematoma? Is it normal for a hematoma to feel hard?

I have a suspicious area that could not be biopsied at the time of my MRI guided biopsy.  (One suspicious area was biopsied (benign) and the other was not able to be biopsied.)  It is a linear non-mass enhancement of 1.5 cm with rapid washin - washout kinetics.  (Most likely it is scar tissue because it appears near one of my lumpectomy sites.  I also had radiation to my entire breast.) (Lumpectomies - 7/14 and Radiation finished 10/14)  (PILC and PLCIS in one lump and PLCIS and Invasive Tubular Carcinoma in the other lump.  Diagnosed early so stage 1 but grade 2)

Does anyone have experience with a linear non-mass enhancement with rapid washin - washout kinetics?

The plan is to wait and watch for 6 months.  My next Mammo, Sono, and MRI are scheduled for November 2015.  I am concerned that if the giant hematoma does not go away, that the hematoma might obscure visibility on these tests.

Can anyone give insight?
