Second Mammogram and Ultrasound show benign appearances

Hi Everyone,

I went for a second mammogram and ultrasound today as a result of a centimeter spot on my left breast in the 12 o'clock position. The nurse called me to say that the results show "benign appearances" and to follow up in six months with another mammogram. I'm 49 and my mother was diagnosed when she was 60 with stage 2A. She lived another ten years but at times she struggled. They believe HRT may have caused her cancer.

Am I worrying to much? I've requested a biopsy be done just to make certain. I should mention that I can't feel anything and my OB/GYN did a breast exam prior to the first mammogram results and didn't find it either. Six months is a long time to not know for certain.
