Pain with Lymphedema

    Greetings!

I just had an EMG which showed no nerve/muscle abnormalities despite ongoing pain in my arm, radiating into my ear and jaw, since my Lymphedema diagnosis two years ago. I also had a cervical x-ray done which showed mild arthritis, and was told to seek PT. All this happened through my PCP.

I am so upset that I still have no answers. Can this be a recurrence? I'm seeing my Onc on Thursday and wonder what I should be hoping for from him.

Anyone out there have a similar experience? It's been going on for so long and I don't have the money to be going to PT.......

    Thank you!

    Tammy

Not to be alarming, especially since your primary care doctor would be aware of this, but radiating pain into the jaw can be a symptom of angina. Has your cardiac function been checked? Even young women can have heart attacks. Females in general present with unusual signs compared to men and remain undiagnosed too often.

Hope this mystery resolves soon for you. Two years is a long time to be searching for answers...
