Hi, this is my first post. After finding this site a couple days ago, I sure wish I had found while going through diagnosis, chemo, and surgery. There is so much helpfulness on this site.

I have been having extreme shoulder pain for a couple weeks now. I played it off as degenerative bone disease. That is what I have in lower back. Found out after a car wreck. My oncologist scheduled me for a bone scan because of my continued back pain. That was 2 and a half months ago. I have now developed extreme shoulder pain. I have trouble sleeping because I can't get comfortable. Is it possible for it to be bone mets?

Thanks for any help 😀

I had a similar response, turned out I had lost cartilage and had bone spurs in my shoulder. Hurt like crazy to lay on it I had surgery and it's all fine. Can you get a referral to an orthopedic? It gave me great relief to know it was not anything more than that.
