After abnormal ultrasound, MRI and diagnostic mammo tomorrow

it's been almost a month since my abnormal ultrasound. Finally tomorrow are my appts for further testing. I picked up my ultrasound report and of course I've been googling all the words ever since.

My MRI is first, then mammo. I've never had either of these things and some of you gave me great advice to help understand what it will be like.

Does anyone know if I will get an idea of results tomorrow?

Any of you have anything similiar to me?

Axillary lymph node measured at 1.4X1.2x.79cm. There is a cyst at the 3 o'clock position. 4oclock position contains heterogenous ill defined hypoechoic region with posterior acoustic attenuation noted.

MRI seems to take about 3 or 4 days to hear. Mammos where i am you get told right then because it is a breast center.

I don't have the same findings as you, but I got a 1.5cm node in my armpit that they are doing an U/S on this Tuesday, since I already had the mammo and mri.

what was your diagnosis again crmnsuga? I think it's weird I had the ultrasound first and NO diagnosis but being sent for MRI. Maybe because I am only 27 and the lump was palpable. I don't know. I'm not nervous about the tests just want the results and to move forward with whatever the outcome is:) I hope you are doing well.

I have not yet been diagnosed.I'm still in the test phase to see what this is.

The reason I got my mri last, my mammo/us were ordered together due to a palpable lump in my left breast my pcp felt. They both came back clear, so I got sent for mri and I get another u/s Tuesday, then off to the BS.

so I went for my MRI this morning. Went well, just weird and loud. Then my mammogram was supposed to happen..they came and said we have to do an ultrasound because of your age it's protocol and you don't need a mammogram. I've already had an abnormal ultrasound but I figured what the heck, more images might not be bad. So I do the ultrasound. Then they tell me I can leave. 10 mins later they call me and said the dr saw "asymmetry" on the MRI and wants me to come back for mammogram. All done now! Should know by Thursday they said. Just want to move forward and KNOW.

got the results. Birads score 3. So I'm going to request a biopsy. It's a solid nodule and I just don't want it there
