Anyone lost weight on AROMASIN (exemestane) or didn't gain?

I'm taking an unofficial poll. Start this drug in a week after stopping the arimidex, which was pretty horrible even for a patient, stubborn high pain threshhold person like me.

did not gain and actually did loose a few pounds as I bumped up my work outs a lot!  I wanted to prevent bone loss and it worked

I've been on Aromasin since February. I haven't gained or lost weight.

Thanks, keep the responses coming! I also wonder if you could include whether you were IDC or ILC, triple -, etc. if you are comfortable sharing and don't have it included in your signature line at the bottom of your posts.

I've neither gained nor lost on exemestane. My winter weight is slightly up and summer weight is slightly down as usual. If I put a little more effort into exercise and eating more carefully, I'd easily drop 5-8 pounds to a BMI under 22.

I did not gain. 7 years on that drug. But I never could loose anything either.

Thanks again, I hope others keep responding.

I don't know if ILC/IDC status makes a difference, or if ER+ does either. ILC seems to be more highly driven by estrogen dominance than the other types. My unscientific hypothesis now is that perhaps those of us who are ER+ and or ILC status may be affected more from lack of estrogen than others...I was highly estrogen dominant all my life, so the lack of it now may be affecting me more than others who aren't (SE, weight gain, unability to lose, etc.) but I am not a scientist so right now I'm just surmising.

I keep telling myself that if i figure this out, it won't hurt so much as I try to dump these 8 lbs esp. if I am unsuccessful. Currently counting every calorie. Keeping it around 1200 / day per myfitnesspal app. If that doesn't work I'm going to the modified fast program, fast 2 and eat 12-1500 cals a day for five.
