Palpable node near crease in elbow?
Hi ladies! I felt what I think is a node in near the crease in my right elbow. I've found out it's called the supratrochlear node, if that's what I'm feeling. I don't have an infection in my hand or arm, which are what those nodes drain. It doesn't hurt and doesn't feel hard but I can feel it when I extend my arm. So I'm petrified I have mets or something like lymphoma from chemo. My cancer was Triple Negative too. Anybody ever have similar issues? I know I need to call the doctor but it's Saturday. I'm scared ya'll!!
Edit to add: I thought I felt something on the front of my shoulder area too! Do we have lymph nodes there? It's not above the clavicle so I guess that's a good sign. Or at least I hope so!

Luv, have you thought about lymphedema? Not a welcome diagnosis but way better than mets! Even with no node removal, trauma from surgery and/or radiation can set the stage by damaging delicate vessels...
The elbow is a typical site for fluid accumulation, as is the shoulder. For the weekend, try drinking lots of water to dilute any stagnant areas and help mobilize things by elevating the arm, deep breathing and very light massage strokes over the skin, like petting a kitten.
Also look at the LE forum here (edit: I see you have been active there so perhaps you are already aware of the standard advice. Try not to worry too much, do something special to distract yourself)

I have possible slight truncal LE. But the doctor's and even my LE therapist aren't certain I have it. I don't have it in my arms. There's no swelling at all. My husband says he doesn't feel anything. He's no doctor though. Haha. I'll have it all evaluated and may even email my therapist, depending on what my PCP says. Thanks!
I'll welcome any other tips and ideas.

I have nodes that I can feel too. In my shoulder and in my elbow, near the inside closer to my trunk in the crease. They did biopsy the one node, they said it was benign, but we know how the needle can miss. They said it was just a reactive node, doing the work of the missing node.

Thanks Tomboy! I'm glad yours are benign. I'm not even sure these are nodes I'm feeling. I thought I felt one awhile back and they told me it was a bulge in the muscle so who knows for sure. Ugh! Stupid cancer thoughts are scary
