    Mircann,

I'm in Sonoma and though not in Kaiser, many of my friends are. If you'd like I can ask around and see who they go to there.

Thanks Suladog ...that would be great...! ask around yes, and let me know...Im with Dr. Zhang and he is a jerk and probably just in this field for the money..I heard... oncologists in this county make about $20,000 a MONTH...that is about $300,000 a yr...at  that rate if he makes that kind of money he should be a compassionate oncologist that takes time with his pts and explains things and understands what we are all going thru...he does none of this...ugh! And told me the labored breathing I had 4 days after chemo was from anxiety...excuse me...by day 4 I wasn't even anxious anymore...I was used to the roller coaster ride by then...ugh..

I go to UCSF and my local MO is Dr.Anderson at St Josephs, aka Redwood Regional up on Round Barn. Let me ask around.

    Mir,

I asked my friend who was chief off nursing at UCSF for years and knows everybody and she said that of the 5 MOs there 3 are foreign trained, anyway she said if it were her she'd probably see Christine Kaiser who is the only woman there. She said however she would check and see what she finds out

Wow thanks Sula!....I was just thinking of going with her (C.Kaiser) too...! hope she has an opening...all of them are of other ethnic backgrounds except for a Dr. Anderson there(cute young blonde guy) and Christina Kaiser. If they were trained in other countries ( I saw of the MD's in my clinic- many of other ethnicities) that would make a difference as in other countries (women are treated as second class citizens and not to question males and be passive) and that is exactly how I felt that I should just shut up and listen to the doctor...

I had coffee with my friend this morning and she's doing more checking for you but she seems to like Christina too, and yes where a Dr is from and trained can have an impact if you're a woman
