pity party over here
I am 42, I have a demanding career, and have a lot going on health wise. Too much. I have asymmetrical tonsils that are being removed in three weeks. I have a 14cm fibroid tumor in my uterus and have to get a hysterectomy in August. I have a lump in my breast. Waiting to get an mri Monday because the lump s not on ultrasound or 3d mammogram, but it is there. I am scared.
I tried to explain to my husband everything that is going on so far, because he's never with me for appointments. He listens selectively. He started saying that this is too much. He got mad and started yell. I asked him to stop, so l could to help him understand. He said I was in this alone, threw his ring at me and walked out.
Guess it is better to know you're going to go thru it alone sooner than later.
Makes me hope even harder this isn't cancer.

I am so sorry for all that you are going through. You are being dealt so many serious things at once, no one should have all that to deal with at the same time. Just take one day at a time, your health is the most important right now. Do not hesitate to get help if you are finding yourself getting depressed or anxious. Hope you have family/friends who you can count on during this difficult time. Sending blessings for strength and courage to help you through.

I hope you get good news. Sounds like your husband is overwhelmed and not coping emotionally. Try not to think about his reaction and concentrate on getting your results. Hope you don't have cancer. Good luck with your surgery.

crmnsuga, sorry to hear you're going through all of this. It can be difficult to communicate with loved one's about how you feel and for them to understand what you're going through.
Is there a friend or family member who may be able to accompany you to your appointment's instead? It can be so much less stressful when someone is there with you to support you.
Sending our warmest regards to you and hoping that the lump is benign.
Keep us updated!
The mods.

I know the thought of this is scary, that I am not the only one effected, but it doesn't help by flipping out. Or throwing up one's hands at the still undetermined scenario. I mean hell, I am trying to include him, trying to let him know it's ok not to be ok with me. That I am here for him too. Freaking macho duck.
Ugggh.
